I have wanted to showcase some of my larger mural art projects for a while and have finally pulled all the information together to celebrate the work and my loyal clients.
From sprawling community walls in North London to hand-painted branding for global names, I continue transforming everyday spaces into immersive works of art. My signature style — full of colour, heart, and whimsical flair — is more than decorative. It’s a medium for connection, storytelling, and identity. Here’s a look at some of my large-scale, standout projects that celebrate the impact of hand-painted art in communities, town centres, and brand environments.
A Community Reimagined: Ladybur Housing Co-operative, Tottenham
In 2018, I completed a striking 100-meter-long mural at the Ladybur Housing Co-operative in Tottenham. Spanning the estate’s communal areas, this project was more than a beautification effort — it was a statement of pride and place.
Commissioned as part of a larger initiative to enhance the estate, the mural helped foster a renewed sense of community identity. Residents now enjoy a space that reflects their vibrancy and spirit — a daily reminder of creativity’s power to uplift and unite.

Bringing Colour to Commuters: The Ryners Park Station Underpass
In 2022, I partnered with local signage artist Joe to transform a once-drab underpass at Ryners Park Station. Commissioned by Transport for London (TfL), this project reimagined a purely functional walkway into a place that commuters, cyclists, and pedestrians could actually enjoy.
The mural features bold colours and energetic forms, while Joe’s vibrant signage adds practical guidance with artistic flair. What was once a grey, overlooked shortcut is now a lively corridor of creativity — a space that invites smiles, reflection, and a sense of safety.
Healing Through Art: Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust, Welling
In early 2024, I collaborated with artist Le spleen to create a mural for the Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust in Welling. This artwork, installed inside a mental health unit, was carefully designed to evoke feelings of calm, comfort, and hope.
Incorporating soft shapes, plant-inspired motifs, and a soothing colour palette, the mural supports emotional well-being and recovery. Staff and patients have shared that the space now feels more welcoming — a powerful example of how art can be an integral part of the healing process.
Art in the High Street: Positively Putney and Love Uxbridge
In 2025, I took part in several art-led town centre initiatives to support local engagement:
- Spring Art Trail (Positively Putney) – 21 local businesses hosted artworks, each hiding a letter in a community treasure hunt to win Easter prizes.
- Framed: Putney – work featured on lamppost banners along Putney High Street as part of a post-lockdown art exhibition celebrating local resilience.
- Love Uxbridge – “Love Uxbridge” window mural, full of bold lettering and festive motifs, encouraged people to shop locally while brightening up the town’s retail windows.
These projects reveal how even small-scale public art — like a painted shop window — can become a catalyst for community pride and participation.
Beautifying Ealing: 60+ Murals for Local Shops
As part of a long-term collaboration with Make It Ealing, I has painted more than 60 shop windows throughout Ealing Broadway. The seasonal and event-themed designs help businesses stand out, attract foot traffic, and express their identity through art.
From Halloween and Christmas to summer sales, hand-painted windows act like living posters — dynamic, warm, and infused with personality.
Playground Magic: Field Road, Barons Court
Back in 2019, the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea worked with Play Innovation to refurbish the Field Road playground in Barons Court — I was commissioned to help transform the environment.
The result? A vibrant, child-friendly space complete with bright colours, sensory elements, hopscotch, and playful mural art that now welcomes children up to 11 years old. This project demonstrates how artistic design can make public spaces more joyful, inclusive, and engaging.
Hand-Painted Branding: From Starbucks to Kraken Rum
My artistry extends to brand storytelling. Through hand-painted murals and window art, I collaborate with some of the world’s most recognised names to elevate their visual presence in unique ways:
- Starbucks – Partnering with Paul Sweeny, Alessandra painted in-store artwork that celebrates the brand’s values of community and sustainability.
- Marks & Spencer – With Make It Ealing, she created seasonal window art using hand-lettering and colourful flourishes to enhance the in-store experience.
- L’Oréal, Frezyderm & Vichy – Alessandra delivered promotional artwork that merged high-fashion beauty with artistic sophistication.
- Kraken Rum – Known for its bold, mythic imagery, Kraken’s campaign allowed Alessandra to explore a darker, moodier palette with tentacle-inspired textures and weathered finishes.
Each project highlights how hand-crafted art can give brands a human touch that digital design simply can’t replicate.
My Thoughts: More Than a Mural
I hope my work is a vivid reminder that art has a place everywhere — not just in galleries, but in train stations, hospitals, storefronts, and playgrounds. Whether used to amplifying community identity or giving global brands a soulful visual voice, I use every project to spark joy, encourage connection, and make the everyday feel extraordinary.
