1. Organiser
This initiative is organized by Alessandra Tortone (“the Organiser”). By participating, entrants agree to these terms and conditions.
2. Eligibility
- The initiative is open to members of the public in the UK only.
- The charity nominated must be a registered charity in the UK.
- Self-nominations by charities are permitted.
- The nominated charity must have a suitable wall or surface for a mural and be willing to provide necessary access and permissions for its creation.
3. How to Enter
- Nominations must be submitted via the website nomination form by 11:59 PM (GMT) on November 30, 2025.
- Each nomination must include the charity’s name, location, mission, and a brief explanation (up to 200 words) of why the charity deserves the mural.
4. Selection of Winner
- The Organiser will review all valid nominations and select one winning charity at her sole discretion.
- The decision will be based on factors including the charity’s impact, suitability of the mural location, and alignment with the campaign’s objectives.
- The winner will be contacted before the announcement to confirm they agree to receive the mural.
- The winner will be announced in December 2025, through social platforms.
5. Prize
- The winning charity will receive a custom mural painted by the Organiser at no cost.
- The mural will be created at the charity’s premises on dates agreed upon by the Organiser and the charity.
6. Conditions for Participation
- The winning charity will be requested to:
- Allow the creation of the mural to be filmed for promotional purposes.
- Provide a written or on-camera statement about their experience and the mural’s impact.
- Collaborate with the Organiser to ensure smooth execution of the mural creation.
7. Filming and Promotion
- The Organiser reserves the right to document and share the mural’s creation through photos, videos, and other media for promotional purposes.
- By participating, entrants and the winning charity agree to the use of their names, images, and statements in promotional materials without compensation.
8. Disqualification
- The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify nominations that are incomplete, false, or violate any of these terms.
9. Liability
- The Organiser is not responsible for any technical or logistical issues that may affect participation or the mural’s creation.
- The winning charity assumes responsibility for providing a safe and suitable environment for the mural’s creation.
10. General
- These terms and conditions are subject to change at the Organiser’s discretion.
- Any disputes will be resolved at the Organiser’s sole discretion, and her decision is final.
