31 May All about Mural art
Oh it’s just a wall! That’s something you’ll never hear about a wall with mural art on it.
For many people, it sounds surprising that one would choose mural art as a career. Why mural art, Alessandra? I say, why not mural art? Have you seen the difference that it brings to a place?
I have been asked why I am so passionate about painting walls, but it’s not just wall painting. Hand painted wall art changes the face of a home, an environment, any kind of space.
There is so much ugliness in the world that we live in today. So much so that one bright feature on the wall could be the difference between empty seats and a large crowded. A wall, no matter how luxuriously decorated, is still just a wall. However, a wall with mural art on it is an entrance; into the imagination, to place that you have never been, away from your present circumstances, and into the hope that beauty can come out of anything. This may sound like a far-fetched expectation for a wall, but that’s what mural art does. The effect of hand painted wall art goes beyond the wall. Think about your favorite place to hang out; you go because there’s something to see. Well, mural art speaks out quietly to everyone close by.
Mural art is like a story told with colors on your wall. Looking at it from anywhere at all can make a difference to your mood, your outlook towards the world, your opinion of humanity, the way that you react to the things that face you. Hand painting art onto a wall is not just something I know how to do; it is how I tell stories. The stories of culture, emotion, romance, happiness, laughter, childhoods, the past, the present and the future can be told with hand painted wall art, and that is what I have dedicated my skills and my time to doing.
